• Is there an ID or minimum age requirement to enter the event?

The NZ Hair & Beauty Expo is a TRADE-ONLY Expo. All attendees will be required to show a business appropriate ID in-order to gain access to the event (business card, student ID, industry association card are acceptable). The name on your ID and the name on your attendee pass must be the same. No-one under the age of 18 may purchase a pass and no one under the age of 18 (including infants) will be admitted unless they are currently studying/working within the industry e.g. completing their apprenticeship.

  • What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The cost per entry, per day are: first 10-minutes - no charge, $5.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for every additional hour, up to a maximum of $15.00, per vehicle, per entry, per day.

Parking rates are as quoted by ASB Showgrounds and subject to change. Parking rates are not controlled by SDW Events (organisers of the 2019 NZ Hair & Beauty Expo).

  • What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive refunds up to 30-days before your event start date. Refunds are processed by our ticketing agent EventBrite. No refunds will be issued within the 30-day period prior to the event commencing. Cash refunds are not available.

  • Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

    No. You can present your mobile phone displaying your order confirmation email at the Expo entrance and your ticket barcode will be digitally scanned by our staff to permit admission.

    Alternatively, you can print your ticket (attached to your order confirmation email) and bring it with you to the Expo.

  • Can I update my registration information?

Yes, absolutely. You can update the information on your order (e.g name, email address, or answers to the organiser's questions) in advance of the Expo by clicking your order on the Tickets page and amending your details.

  • Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

    Registration fees and/or tickets are non-transferable.

  • Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match my ID?
