NZBeauty Expo 2011 a Success

The 2011 NZBeauty Expo was held over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd July and the show was yet another successful and prosperous event for the industry. New Zealand's professional beauty, spa and hair suppliers, buyers and decision makers joined together to celebrate and encourage growth and innovative development within the industry.
New products and services, competitions, fashion shoots, catwalks and seminars were only a taste of what was on offer to show visitors. The Triple Challange Competition brought the top salon teams to the stage to recreate a music of movie character. Congratulations to Cut Above Academy in Auckland for winning the competition with their reindition of Batman and Robon's Poison Ivy. The best of the best were recognised and celebrated for their talents and contiribution to the industry at the 2011 NZ Beauty Industry Awards, held at the Rendezvous Hotel on the 2nd July. Celebrity MC John Hawkesby hosted an entertaining awards dinner and awards were presented by key industry professionals to winners of Best Student, Therapist, New Business, Spa and Clinic.
